I am very delighted and privileged to have the opportunity to share my testimony with others who have not encounter the goodness of God yet. It’s OK. It’s never too late because our heavenly Father is always looking out and waiting for us to return to his open arms. Let me just start with how I got to know Him. As a young school girl, I was studying in Methodist Girls’ School throughout my primary and secondary school days. However, I was not exposed to Christianity until one of my school friends invited me to her church for Christmas celebration. It was just a normal Christmas celebration nevertheless I enjoyed it because it was the first time celebrating Christmas in the church. I was invited for another function in church but I didn’t recall it as Christmas celebration. However, this time around there was prayer cycle. My friend prayed for me and to my surprise, it was really simple. I mean it’s unlike Buddhism where I don’t really get what I’m praying. I was sort of praying for the sake of praying. There isn’t any connection or relationship with God. Besides, I do not come from a staunch Buddhism background. It makes me all the more ignorant towards the religion. Frankly, I was not interested at all. It was just like an obligation. Sometimes I was reluctant to even go. Conversely, it was different altogether for Christianity. I get to feel the warmness of the religion because there’s not one way only to pray to Him, but you can praise and worship Him, talk to Him when you are facing struggles in life, thank Him for the goodness, read the Bible to get to know more about Him and the best part of all is that He will answer our prayers!

I was afraid that my mum would not allow me to convert. In fact, I was afraid that my mum would find out and restrict me from going to church. Thus, I actually made an agreement with Him. One day, as my mum was going for her examination, I prayed to him. It was a real casual one. Since my mum was not getting the band that she has wanted for three times, I told God that if He will just give my mum the band so that she will not have to repeat the paper, I will convert into Christianity no matter what. True enough, after that prayer, she passed. I was very surprised at how amazing the prayer works. I know it was Him and not a coincidence. Praise the Lord! It’s just like what it is written in Matthew 21:22. If you believe you will receive what you pray for. However, after that, I was still afraid. I told Him to give me some time. I will tell her. By then, she already knew that I’m interested in Christianity but she kept quiet. I did share this with my cell leader, Gabriel. So he kept me in prayer. I told my aunt who is a Christian about converting and the first question she asked was, have you told your mum? I said, I have not done that but I will do soon. Every time when I come face to face with my mum, it’s very difficult for me to open up to my mum about it. I just find it so hard. So I would keep telling God, yes, you wait awhile more. I’m going to tell her and finally, one day I told Him, ok, no matter what happen, I am going to tell my mum this weekend when I go back my hometown, Malacca. Nonetheless, before that, I prayed that God will open up her heart when I tell her. God is great. Even before I opened my mouth, she already knew what I was going to say. She told me, you are going to ask me permission to be converted right? I was flabbergasted. I stood there not knowing what to react. I just casually asked how did you know? She said you have been going to church so frequently. The most significant thing that she told me was that it’s all up to you. It’s your decision. I knew this what God’s work. I really thank God for this.

What is one most important spiritual lesson I have learnt?

The one utmost spiritual lesson I have learnt in this encounter weekend is to believe that God has forgiven our past sins. Whatever wrongs we have done, it’s all forgiven. It’s really pleasant to know that now I have a relationship with God. I still remember during the first session when Pastor Chris asked us to kneel down and he prayed together with us, I felt really touched and my tears just flowed out profusely. God is just so great and I am really thankful that I am chosen to get to know Him. He is the best thing that can ever happen in my life. I am of the opinion that through this encounter with God, I am able to get to know Him better because during the prayer, I could visualise Jesus holding my hand while taking a stroll in the park and I was like a little, young girl trying to tell Him the wrong deeds that I have done. However, He just smiled and said it’s OK. Don’t have to remember them. It’s all over and forgiven and He even asked me if I wanted to play at the playground. I have learnt to put my past away through this course.

What has been transacted between you and God this weekend?

During the last day of the course, the most exciting session was Baptism and Fullness of the Spirit. I still remember the first time I heard the people of the church speak in tongues, to be frank; I was a little freaked out because I did not experience that before. I have not seen it before. Nonetheless, I got used to it as I attended the church weekly and I was wondering myself, ‘How does this speaking in tongues work?’ I was really curious and I thought it would be really awesome if I could speak in tongues too!! So when Pastor Chris said we could do that, I was really thrilled. Some of us got to speak in tongues and I was one of them. Praise the Lord! When we were on the way of doing it, my heart beat so fast. I was anxious that I would not be able to do it. It was really God’s grace. I was so happy that I finally get to experience the speaking of tongues.

How did you feel before and after the Encounter Weekend?

I was half hearted to go for this encounter weekend because it was so long. Two days. Well, although it’s not that long but I made it as if it was two months. I was really dreading it. I prolonged it actually. I was supposed to go on the 24 and 25 of May but I didn’t. I delayed it with the excuse of final examinations. Besides, another reason was because I did not have any company. So I was a little de-motivated to go. However, after much persuasion from the people around me to go for this course, I finally went for it. I was not excited about it at all. When I reached there, I was still uninterested. I thank God for Pastor Chris because he was jovial and made the whole thing interesting. I started to enjoy bit by bit after the first session started. It’s always the start that is difficult. Most of the people I met were very friendly. Most of all, now we know more people from various cell groups which I think it’s really awesome. Most of the time I would only be with my friends and I would not have the chance to make friends with others. So, I guess that was the right time to get to know more people! One thing for sure, this encounter weekend was superb! I really enjoyed it and was not disappointed at all. Besides, there’s siesta!!=P Thus, in the evening, we were all recharged and ready to absorb what was going to be presented to us.

Why should others attend the Encounter Weekend?

Lastly, I would like to urge those of you out there who are contemplating on coming for this course, to just come. Don’t think twice like me because you will definitely love it! You not only get to go for a short holiday but also learning more about God and most of all, experience Him!!!! What more can you ask for? That’s the best thing ever that can happen in your life!

hey!!!me back....one week of break is really not enough....aiksss!!!well...give me more also i will say not enough still...bluek!!!!
I did not do anything meaningful this holidays though....did even get to catch up with my friends....how sad....manage to meet up with Sheau Qin though...
the rest either preparing for STPM or having their finals...or worse still....under the weather...
well....this month's resolution is to NOT buy any form of clothes!!!yeah!!!haha!
my mum was laughing her head off when she heard bout this...
when she ask me whether i wanted to buy clothes i told her NOPE!!!i have enough already....she just smiled....
twice already i control myself!!!although it's just beginning of the month.....i have faith in myself!!!!!!!!=D(you people out there don't laugh!i said DON't!!=))
however...................................
i did buy shoes though!!!haha!!
because my shoes already worn out..yeah....almost...
so yupsss!!!i bought for college and also walking shoes...
no pics was taken yet...but guess i won't be taking it...LAZYYY..
by the way, ate sushi today!!!it's been quite awhile since i ate sushi!!!and the feeling was totally awesome!!!
we ate at Sushi-Ai in Dataran Pahlawan...=)
10 plates of sushi and we were full already....hmmm...
i guess if it's not a public holiday, i will feed myself more with sushi because they were having this special offer..half proce for all the sushies!!!!how lovely was that??!!!
although it was a public holiday, i still wasn't satisfied..
i asked the waiter, today we are not entitled the 50% discount right?
waiter : yea, today is a public holiday. so there isn't any discount.sorry.=)
me : disappointed!!haha!!bleh!
oh yea...there's this funny thing that happen to me...
the other day i went to the new GSC cinema in Dataran.
i didn't know it was at the new phase...
so i went to the old one and asked where was the cinema...
The first man : it's on the right....you just follow....go straight and you will see...i was like....@.@...ok....
got lost.....not exactly lost....just that i dunno where is he bringing me...ask another stranger...
me : uhmmm,excuse me,may i know where is the cinema?
the second man : oh, you go to the left....it's there....
me : oh...ok,*smile* thanks *walks off*
i was like..ok...one said left another said right?!which to follow???!!!!!
nevermind...decided to find myself....
then i saw the GSC logo pointing to the right!so i went to the right and went up....
reached the second floor...*looks around*
then.....
yea, i approached another stranger....sigh....
she said it's in the Carrefour building...
i was like WHAT???!!!!!!
Carrefour BUILDING???!!!!
ok....nevermind....walk under the hot sun....argh!!!!
reached Carrefour....i asked again!!!
may i know where is the cinema?
then they say the highest floor....
gasp!!go up and i was already at the management floor....am i lost???!!!!
well, I'm not!!!
it's another floor more....
yea..finally i reached!!!!!
GOSH!!!!
but it's worth it ...
the cinema was super big and comfortable...
well, it's new!!!of course!!!=D
so that's the story...

Happy 51st Birthday Malaysia!
It's exactly one month old since the last blog I posted up!=)
Anyway, i would like to announce that the play that i was bragging about to you people is finally over....=D
yeah!!!it's finally OVER and done with!!!
no more day and night practices.....
no more worrying that we can't make it for the play...
no more hearing complains from the God Knows Where....
no more worrying whether we are staging this play....
no more this....
no more that......

so far....the comments that we received were all positive!!(keeps fingers crossed!)
well, at first when we get to know that the play was going to be canceled off....we were like...WHAT!!!!now???after we are 80% done???why can't it be earlier if they want to cancel it off???
BUT.......
all the lecturers were with us....the play must go on....that's what they say...and i'm glad
(i mean we were glad of course!)=D
if they actually followed what the rascals in God Knows Where were saying.....

it's just a play....why are they making such a fuss about it???
out of a sudden the people in God Knows Where became so creative!!!they actually associate the three suitors with Christian trinity...wow!!!!(suddenly became smart!!)
that was the biggest issue....
and the funniest part was that other colleges didn't have this problem and our college which is supposed to be the best college among the IPGs and so called the 'INTERNATIONAL Languages Teachers' Training Institute' is facing this problem....isn't it ironic?
besides, we are going to Canterbury Christ Church to further our studies....so what are they going to do to us?
stop us from going there??
we are just learning the work of Shakespeare....nothing more than that....
they are just a bunch of Jakuns with kampung mentality!
sorry to say that....but they are seriously behaving that way....
our whole cohort were cool with the play....no one actually complaint anything about it....
until.......
the dumbass Jakuns did.....=S

Friday
i went out with Shen-Ann right after school....we went to Pasar Seni to hunt for lace for her dress....=)
we went everywhere....but then no nice lace were found....
and guess what happen when we went to Mydin to find....
we were not allow to bring in ou bags...so we have to leave our bags in the locker rite?
and in order to put the bag in the locker we were supposed to open the locker and chuck our things in the locker and put two 50 cents coins in it ad close the locker and turn the key....
BUT....
what we did was......
we put the coins and turned the key before closing it....so finally the locker wasn't lock and the money already went in....so we had to put money in again.....
we were just so blur.....
and the person incharged scolded us somemore....
actually i do not like to go to the place....it just gives me the dangerous aura and people may just snatch your bag anytime....yea...that's the aura i get from there.....scary...spooky...
ok..i know i sounded like Mydin is a haunted house or something...haha!!
after that, we went into Mydin....actually we saw the lace already but then too long....she only need 2 meters...but there were like 13 meters...(if i'm not mistaken....)i don't know...
finally we just came out and we didn't have the energy to look for it somemore....so we walked back to Pasar Seni Station and headed to KLCC....
we were walking in KLCC aimlessly...we just walked and walked and Shen-Ann collecting phamplets for her scrapbook....so, yea...we just continue walking....then we went to Chilles to take thier phamplets....we asked a foreign waiter for the phamplet..and he gave us the puzzled look..phamplet??what phamplet???then we were like...nevermind...thanks...
then Shen-Ann were kinda irritated..ahaha!
what language am i speaking?English right?!haha!!
then i asked Shen-Ann..hmmm???
why not catch a movie??
Death Race!!!so we went to buy the tickets...=)
and we were kind of hungry....
so we went to look around....we saw this merdeka offer....51% for any half dozen of donuts...so we bought and hid in Shen-Ann's bag!!haha!
yup!we managed to smuggle food in.....=)
it was a real good movie!
packed with action and violence!
it's a must watch movie after Iron Man....(at least for me....)=)
totally awesome!!!musn't miss it!=D

Recap of what i've done for the past few weeks....=)

there's alot of things that happened the past few weeks....

basically, this third semester, besides hanging out with adam, most of the time i will be with Shen-Ann and Reva.=) and when you see three of us are together..... means EATING time...

even Reva was saying that wherever she sees Shen-Ann and me together...definitely we are going somewhere to eat....which is true!

We went to Tony Roma's together....that was on Sunday...on the way out from our hostel, we (Shen-Ann and me) saw Reva who just got back from Penang...and we actually dragged her along with us to Tony Roma's....=)

that was our first time....for the three of us....we ordered two main course and one dessert. by the way, the Tony Roma's that we went to was in MidValley.=)

Food that we ordered:

BBQ 1/2 Chicken
Fish and Fries
TR Chocolate Avalancha (hope the spelling is right though..=P )

the portions were huge and we were actually very full after eating....however, we still could not resist ordering Choc Avalancha because Shen-Ann was telling us it's so delicious...mustn't miss it....so we ordered that and eat....

true enough!it's was just so tasty and creamy and what can i say more?!HEAVEN!!!

what?!sinful?haha!!that two jokers just could not care anymore....they....i mean we wanted to eat it so badly....

uhmmm....suddenly remembered something!!!=P

i quoted that from someone while eating the brownies with ice cream...gosh, thinking of it makes my mouth water.....besides that the fries were different from the other fries that you eat in those stereotype fast food restaurants. it's long, big, filled with potatoes and when you munch...you actually get the satisfaction! not like the rest....so oily and too much of salt as though the salt was free!hmmm...the food there was just...mama mia!=)

Last Sunday, me and Shen-Ann went to Spaghetti Grill!!it's actually sub Chilles! and guess what?!each of us only paid RM 17!we ordered one grapeade which is bottomless(can refill), one Cream Dory Fettoccini, and Dinner Salad..it's RM44.10...but then they were having promotion....so we got it RM10 cheaper....really filling and fantabulous!! i actually refilled the juice twice....=P go and have a try before 31st August!

so, now.....on the 14 of July 2008, i'm officially a senior!haha!=)well, you can say that is lame...still...i want to be junior at the same time though...=)but then i was seriously excited....however, i was a little dissapointed as things didn't work well....

there were many confusions and misunderstandings which did put us (Cohort 1, 3rd Cycle) off a little. However, things get better as time pass....=) so we had our CF meeting as usual but is the first time for the juniors....we had a little 'makan-makan' session besides praise and worship and ice breaking..... we played poison blanket and matching of tags to the correct person..=)it was totally fun and it's a get away from IPBA once a week....=)

now we are OK as in are in good terms with the juniors already...=)(didn't really argue with them....just a little unhappy with them at first....)and what's best...we have this tradition where we play angel and mortal game with the newcomers.....and currently....we are playing it and going to last for a fortnight....=)

can't wait for the time though!dying to know who is my angel!!!!=)today i got a packet of Double Decker cheeky chicken and lollipop from my angel...=) thanks!

today i went to watch The Mummy 3 in KLCC with Adam....argh!!gosh...the queue was so bloody long....it was really a nightmare waiting in the long queue....we went there because i wanted to finish the advertiser's tickets as they were going to expire real soon and the coming days we won't be able to watch anymore....wanted to watch Dark Knight but then we can't use complementary passes....besides the tickets were sold out already also....sigh...i want to watch Dark Knight...=(i guess i will just ask either one of my brothers to download it then.....=)

so basically that's the updates for the days where i was hibernating from blogging..sometimes i just don't have the mood to write on my blog.=)

Dragon-i (MidValley)

Last Thursday, Shen-Ann, Reva and me went out for dinner together and as per normal we won't know where to eat. We walked till the main road and then stood at the roadside aimlessly....totally no idea where to eat...bored of the food in Thoiba, Amjal, Skud, our block 4 cafe....yea...basically everywhere!then we started pin pointing each other and force everyone to come out with the idea where to eat! Shen-Ann, well, she won't want suggest...she REFUSE to think...that's for sure...terrible...everytime go out with her, make sure you have something in your mind to go especially for food because this girl is just.........argh!!!i don't know what to say....she just not a good help if asked!(Shen-Ann, no offense eh!)

Finally..Reva had a solution!

"Come let's go and eat the pau in Midvalley.."

So, we walked to the taxi stand and off we headed to MidValley, Dragon-i!! Well, for you people out there who don't know where is it in Midvalley, it's actually situated in Cititel Hotel. Hah!!finally, I got to eat the pau again!!!!yeay!!!!i am crazy over that pau...

Totally awesome!Even Reva said it was good....yea, apparently, she was the only Indian there though and guess what??the waiter there was so weird! He actually laugh at us!well, i don't know because of what..but they just laugh!in front of us somemore...not laugh out loud..but giggle the moment we enter Dragon-i!

So when the food came, we didn't know what we ordered because they were speaking in Cantonese. So we just gave the puzzle looking face. haha!then the waiter had to refer to the receipt and tell us...

haha!!i guess i did something crazy though!i pierced my ear!yup!now i know....when i'm really stress I am capable of doing things which i don't dare do normallly...i pierced the upper part of my right ear...=) and proud of it!!!whoo!!!

ahh!!!finally!!!yeay!!!

well, i know you people will say i'm crazy...but yea, teenagers loves trying crazy stuff and i don't think this is really crazy yet...there's more to come!when it strikes, the you shall see what happen!I will surely post it!!!=)

Yea, before i forget, i managed to finish 4 posters on that day as well and i was really happy!!the posters are for The Merchant of Venice.

It's benn ages since I went to 1U....supposedly, I had to go to my aunt's house this weekend...but then she had to go to Ipoh with my uncle because there is a beauty pagent contest going on.....I wasn't that clear where is it. However, the competition is held annually in different part of Malaysia...=)

So, I told Shen-Ann to stay over my place since Seetal is going back to her hometown, Ipoh and Reva will be back in Penang as well....(good planning eh?!)

She came over to my place at 12.45pm (Friday). She brought so many things as if she wanted to shift house....but actually she is just staying my place for 3days...

Friday : went to KLCC for dinner....(as per normal, anyone who goes out and eat with her will have to decide because she is just bad at deciding the venue...)(heh!i'm equally as bad but then when circumstances force, no choice...in this case the circumstance is Lee Shen-Ann.haha!!!)we didn't go any nice restaurant in KLCC though....just the food court..that time i was so hungry....yea, both of us were hungry...(oh yea, we had to cramp in the LRT...it's so pack!!!just like in the sardine can!) We ate Yoshinoya...(Chicken Kotsudon with .....)forget the name of it...taste good!!!

then we stroll in the park!!oh wait....stroll in the PARK?!nah!!haha!we 'stroll' in the shopping complex itself!!

we ended up in this shop where they sell all the wrapping papers and ornaments to decorate the present box....we went ad throw some money there for buttons and stuffs..... not cheap though...we spent our time there quite long choosing the buttons because we just can't seem to find the alphabets that we wanted.

Saturday : today is the day!!!we went to 1 Utama....we took LRT to Taman Bahagia and from there we took a cab to 1U...the cab cost around RM5-6....not that bad though....(as long as i land my feet in 1U!!) before that, let me tell you what time we woke up!!8 am!!!by 10 am we were in 1U already...so headed to TGV cinema to get our tickets...we watched WANTED!!!wow!!!nice movie...go watch it!!!it's full of actions!!=)

after that meet up with Chin Nee at TGV....while waiting for her we went to some nearby shops and we ended up at Scrapbook shop!!!the papers we so nice la!!!BUT it's expensive....However...i still bought a few..just couldn't resist it....i fell in love with the papers....so, yea...bought a few....

Shen-Ann bought some kind of ribbon...heart shape..it's beautiful but then again...it's very costly....

after that, we went to eat.....yea..EAT!!!!

then continue walking and camwhoring the entire day....we just couldn't get enough of it...don't ask why...it's just that....=)

we came back around 9pm....went to Thoiba, Kerinchi to have our dinner....MURTABAK!!haha!first time eating though.....

then, we continued our journey back to hostel!!!yeah,journey!!!=)

it was a tiring day though...but then had lots of fun!!!!

Haha!!!guess what time we slept??=)

i mean Shen-Ann, Reva and me....these few days was with both of them...

and guess what side effect i got from them....i crap like nobody's business....sigh...(no offence Shen-Ann and Reva yea...)

THURDAY: after class, I went to Shen-Ann's room...just to chill and hang out..a.k.a. LEPAK...that's what we do when we are too free(no assignments and homework) apparently, i can foresee the future ya know?!i sense that we will be getting our assignments next week which will burden us not for a short period of time...BUT will take for like AGES to complete it! and the worst part of all is that i got to know that this coming end of the year i will be facing another exam which the marks will be counted!DUMBASS!!!

okok, back to my story.....

i went to Shen-Ann's room and we were just immersed in our laptops or my 'LAPPIE'...that's his name....=)basically, after lazying around, we decided to eat because our tummies are calling....they are making some orchestra or symphony...not sure....=)

but what to do?

we did not know where to eat...Reva asked us (Shen-Ann and me) (sort of like having a serious dicusssion (Shen-Ann, 2008))but end up she had to solve the complicated question herself....we came up with a few places if not mistaken...=)

So, at first all were in consensus going to Dragon-i in MidValley but then when Shen-Ann asked me where to eat again i was like

"Uhmmmm, KL Sentral lo..."..i forget that we actually planned to go Midvalley...sigh....so end up Reva thought we are going Midvalley and Ann thought that we are going to KL Sentral...i know, my bad....i always forget ma...how???=P

then in the end, we went to KL Sentral.=) i had roasted chicken with taumeric sauce while Ann had kid's fish and chip (wana diet la....but dunno diet what?!already so thin....haish!!!)and Reva ate Lasagne.=)

before that we took pictures....can say that we have disease la....camwhoring like nobody's business..haha!(wait till i post up the pictures.=P)

SATURDAY: woke up at 7.00am....the whole night we did not sleep...we only slept at 4 am....Shen-Ann was editing pictures (well, she had to...that's her ASSIGNMENT....haha!!guess if you want to know the story, i will link to her page....but then she have not started blogging about what happened yet.=P)

We left college to send Naveen off in the bus station in Putra...(yup!you saw it right...not Pudu..but Putra...most of the buses go to West, East and North Malaysia)first time there though...=)

so here the story goes.....

after sending Naveen back, we went back to the KTM station. From Putra we left for MidValley...that time it was just 9.45am...(bare in mind the TIME!!!!)

we went to Sentul....then the KTM stopped at Sentul. guess what??!!!in the WHOLE KTM only three of us inside....=) then out of nowhere there's one sweeper came in to sweep the floor.....=)and then there's this announcement....

"Sila turun dari KTM dan pergi ke KTM sebelah.Sekian, terima kasih."

So , three of us exchanged looks and were dumbfounded for a second and end up burst out laughing!

we walked to the KTM opposite and waited for the train to move. So, again we went back to Putra....=) then we CHANGE train and go to Sentul again....then again....we thought it's wrong...so we change train AGAIN!!!!end up we are at Putra...then we changed AGAIN....haha!i know it sounds stupid...but yea...that's us...we got LOST aparently...(seriously, i hate using KTM....it always pisses me off!!!because it's so confusing and most of all i had waiting for the train!!!!besides, it always brakes down too!!!)

until one moment....Seetal got a sign from GOD!!!!she was the first to realise that we were in the wrong train...we did not have to CHANGE train actually.....so after Sentul, we just sat in the train to let the train move because Sentul is the last station....

so, for the first part, we were right already....as in the correct track...Seetal was not following us to Midvallley because she was going out with Ivon...so left Shen-Ann and me...=)(both the blur gals....imagine!!!!) so we sent Seetal off happily not knowing that we too had to get down at KL Sentral!!!gosh!!!then after KL Sentral, Ann and me were busy talking about some random topic that interest us obviously..but at the same time bring us to emo session as well...

guess where we ended up!!!!

We ended up in Angkasapuri and then we were on our way to Pantai Dalam...then thank God Shen-Ann realised that we were in the wrong way again.....so we had to stop at Pantai Dalam and CHANGE train....so...finally, we reached MIDVALLEY safely....Phweee.....=)FINALLY!!!!

we actually took TWO hours to reach MidValley when we can actually reach there earlier!!!we got down from the train at 11.34am with our hungry stomachs...haha!!!!waited for Reva at the North Court....

Again we were having difficulty finding for food!!!people are always never contented.....when there's food, they are choosy, think of the people out there without food!!!!come on!!!=)(ignore the crapping i just made....damn,what's wrong with me!! )

so, Reva was the victim!haha!!she had to decide....in the end, she just randomly name PIZZA HUT!haha!so ok la...we went in....=)

i was so full after eating....super full!!!we ordered Island Supreme Pizza, garlic bread and chicken soup....=) Reva ordered Lasagne with meatballs....

then we walked around...today, Reva la bought alot....she bought one pair of shoes, a blouse from Springfield and also a pair of earrings.=)apparently, the things that she bought, Shen-Ann wants to buy too....but then end up she didn't buy anything....poor gal....=)

went to church with Adam after coming back from MidValley....long tiring day....=)i miss church so much!!!today the songs were nice...=)well, i don't mean that i don't love the songs but then i love today's one specially...=)there's one song name 'Abba, Father...."(i don't remember the title much though...hehe!)but the song is sort of like Zorro....=)nice!!!!!

then we went to Subway for dinner......as usual....=)

that was today!!!!had loads of fun though!!!tiring but then we had a little adventure in the KTM.....praise the Lord that we reached MidValley safely after all the confusion...=)

I've read this book "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch

well, go and visit the link to see his video of the very last lecture he gave. Me myself have not visited the site yet but i will soon.=)

it was really a touching story.. i guess i'm a person who loves to read this genre of books. i mean the bibliography type...i prefer reading true story as in those which will benefit me in the sence that i learn something or gain something from the book..no just by simply enriching my vocabularies but the most significant thing i find while reading is the value that i will grasp from reading.that will make me realise how fortunate i am now and teach me how to be thankful and grateful of what i am now.that's what i'm looking for.

i don't mind reading storybooks because this will enhance our creativity as i myself is kind of sucks at creative writing.(guess i would have to read alot of STORY-based-books huh??) =)

OK, let's get moving with the story that i'm about to share with all of you people out there.=)

yea, how many people would know when they are giving their VERY LAST LECTURE?

unlike for R. Pausch, he knew when he was going to give his very last lecture because he was diagnosed with the final stage of pancreatic cancer which means he has just a few months left before lying on his death bed. most of us unlike him would have the same reaction while getting this kind of shocking news....they would be in their grieves and their family members would mourn even before the patient dies. Especially for the patients, they will be just shock stricken that they had to cramp their 30 -40 years of their upcoming lifes into just a few months because that's what they are left with and in the end, you will see that these patients give up and they would just rather do nothing and waste their time waiting for their death or worse still some would fill their mind with negative thoughts which leads them to commit suicide.

HOWEVER, it's different for Randy Pausch! he is so optimistic, energetic and full of life although he knew that he was going to die in a few months time leaving his wife, Jai and three children behind. he was just like other healthy normal people...i should say from the way he write this book, it's as though he had not diagnosed with any diseases! unfortunately, his children were all very young still. the eldest one was Dylan,7, the second was Logan, 4,(if i am not mistaken) and the youngest one, Chloe,18 months. Actually this book entails about what he had been through in life and what he wants to teach his children when they are a little older because right now they are too young to understand. it saddens me when i see some people are fighting their way out just to stay alive while some just could not careless and do not know how to treasure their live by taking drugs and committing crimes and suicidal....

yea, that's it...they just don't know how to be GRATEFUL to God!hmph!

well, i guess you should go grab this book....it's highly recommended by ME!=P
